Some local numbers are subject to regulations by the local telecoms-regulators. In certain cases this means you will need to be a resident in the country or provide further information such as proof of address or identification (or both) to purchase a number from that country. Below is more information on the country restrictions.

Occasionally with some local number purchase requests for Australia you may need to provide digital representation of a Government issued ID from Australia accompanied by contact address, phone number and email. It will depend on the provider issuing the local number as some DO NOT require ID. You will be notified at the time of purchase if ID is required, if not just continue with transaction as normal.
